South Beach Smoke: The King of Variety

There’s no doubt that south beach smoke is the king of variety and that the value and taste of their top notch electronic cigarettes are at the top of the E-cig market.

South beach smoke offers 5 different flavor varieties:

South Beach Smoke also offers 4 different strengths

- 6mg – Ultra Light
- 12mg – Light
- 16mg – Full Flavor

And of course the Omg cartridge has no nicotine at all.

In addition to their flavor and strength variations, South beach smoke offers two completely different products, the Premium kit and the Deluxe kit,  both are great Electronic cigarettes, but they are also very different from one another.

The Premium electronic cigarette comes in three pieces; The Battery with built in smart chip, the atomizer, and the cartridge.

The Deluxe electronic cigarette is the overall better valued and better engineered product. It comes in only two parts, the battery with built in smart chip and led light, and a Cartomizer.

The way that a cartomizer differs from the standard atomizer and cartridge set is that it’s all in one unit. With other standard units the atomizer and the cartridge are separate and the only element that gets replaced is the cartridge, you would use the same atomizer over and over again. The cartomizer is better built and you never have to worry about the liquid nicotine running out into your mouth. the cartomizer is definately the better choice. It comes in South Beach Smoke’s Deluxe kit.

Variations though, are not the only department that South Beach Smoke excells in. South Beach Smoke has an excellent customer service team and all of their products are warrantied. I had a slight problem with South Beach Smoke back in July of 2010 where my cartridges didn’t get here in time. They were 2 days late. I called their customer service number and not only did they jump on the issue and get more shipped behind my current shipment, they also cut the price of my home delivery program almost in half from that point on. That was truly amazing!

The way that the home delivery program works is pretty simple, You tell them what you want, and how often you want it, and they send it on a determined schedule.

If you are thinking of switching to an electronic cigarette over conventional cigarettes, first let me tell you that you are making a great decision not only for you, but for everyone else around you, and then let me say, South Beach Smoke is the way to go. South Beach Smoke is great and I personally give them the highest rating I could give any of the E-Cig companies out there today.

The Hazards of Second Hand Smoke

Electronic Cigarettes DO NOT emit Secondhand smoke. While Tobacco Smoking DOES

When you smoke are you always by yourself? Or are there Friends, Family, Children,  or bystanders always around you? If so, Did you know that the second hand smoke off of the cigarettes that you smoke releases toxic fumes that are more harmful to others than the mainstream smoke that the person actually smoking the cigarette is taking in? It is a proven fact that Secondhand smoke causes cancer. So for the people that made the decision in their lives not to smoke, they are still at risk when in the presence of second hand smoke.

Here is a few fast facts taken from the American Cancer Society

Secondhand smoke causes cancer

Secondhand smoke is classified as a “known human carcinogen” (cancer-causing agent) by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US National Toxicology Program, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a branch of the World Health Organization.

Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 chemical compounds. More than 60 of these are known or suspected to cause cancer.

Secondhand smoke causes other kinds of diseases and deaths

Secondhand smoke can cause harm in many ways. In the United States alone, each year it is responsible for:

  • An estimated 46,000 deaths from heart disease in non-smokers who live with smokers
  • About 3,400 lung cancer deaths in non-smoking adults
  • Other breathing problems in non-smokers, including coughing, mucus, chest discomfort, and reduced lung function
  • 50,000 to 300,000 lung infections (such as pneumonia and bronchitis) in children younger than 18 months of age, which result in 7,500 to 15,000 hospitalizations annually
  • Increases in the number and severity of asthma attacks in about 200,000 to 1 million children who have asthma
  • More than 750,000 middle ear infections in children
  • Pregnant women exposed to secondhand smoke are also at increased risk of having low birth- weight babies.

Secondhand smoke may be linked to breast cancer

Whether secondhand smoke increases the risk of breast cancer is an issue that is still being studied. Both mainstream and secondhand smoke contain about 20 chemicals that, in high concentrations, cause breast cancer in rodents. And we know that in humans, chemicals from tobacco smoke reach breast tissue and are found in breast milk.

But a link between secondhand smoke and breast cancer risk in human studies is still being debated. This is partly because breast cancer risk has not been shown to be increased in active smokers. One possible explanation for this is that tobacco smoke may have different effects on breast cancer risk in smokers and in those who are exposed to secondhand smoke.

A report from the California Environmental Protection Agency in 2005 concluded that the evidence regarding secondhand smoke and breast cancer is “consistent with a causal association” in younger women. This means that the secondhand smoke acts as if it could be a cause of breast cancer in these women. The 2006 US Surgeon General’s report, The Health Consequences of Involuntary Exposure to Tobacco Smoke, found that there is “suggestive but not sufficient” evidence of a link at this point. In any case, women should be told that this possible link to breast cancer is yet another reason to avoid being around secondhand smoke.

Secondhand smoke kills children and adults who don’t smoke, and makes others sick (Surgeon General’s report)

The 2006 US Surgeon General’s report reached some important conclusions:

  • Secondhand smoke causes premature death and disease in children and in adults who do not smoke.
  • Children exposed to secondhand smoke are at an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), acute respiratory infections, ear problems, and more severe asthma. Smoking by parents causes breathing (respiratory) symptoms and slows lung growth in their children.
  • Secondhand smoke immediately affects the heart and blood circulation in a harmful way. Over a longer time it also causes heart disease and lung cancer.
  • The scientific evidence shows that there is no safe level of exposure to secondhand smoke.
  • Many millions of Americans, both children and adults, are still exposed to secondhand smoke in their homes and workplaces despite a great deal of progress in tobacco control.
  • The only way to fully protect non-smokers from exposure to secondhand smoke indoors is to prevent all smoking in that indoor space or building. Separating smokers from non-smokers, cleaning the air, and ventilating buildings cannot keep non-smokers from being exposed to secondhand smoke.

The better way to smoke – We have found “The One”

I think we have found the one. The best of the best, The electronic cigarette manufacturer that has it going on in every single aspect from Quality to Excellent customer service. Wendy and I bought the “South Beach Smoke” deluxe electronic cigarette at the beginning of last month and let me tell you guys, we really like it. We are overly satisfied with the product.

First though, let us tell you this. South Beach Smoke has two different models of electronic cigarettes that they offer. The Deluxe Kit, and the Premium Kit.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I (Jason) give the premium kit a 6. Yes a 6, and I’ll explain why. The premium kit is made up a lot like other electronic cigarettes on the market. It’s Cartridge (Containing Liquid Nicotine) is one part and the Atomizer is another part and I’m just not a big fan of them being separated. The quality is just lesser. I would much rather have a battery, and a cartridge, rather than a battery. A cartridge and a nebulizer.

The Deluxe Kit, on the other hand, I give, 100% a 10. It comes with what they call a “Cartomizer” which is where the atomizer and the liquid nicotine cartridge are built together. And this makes the electronic cigarette easier to use and it tastes so much better. The taste is unbelievable. You guys would never believe it.

South Beach Smoke may have the tagline “The Better Way to Smoke” but it’s also the better e-cigarette. Not only is this product as good if not better than most of the top brands, it’s half the price. But a good e-cigarette company doesn’t just need a good product at the right price; they also need quality customer service and a reliable delivery program.

Many e-cigarette companies offer their products at $100 per electronic starter kit. South Beach Smoke offers their starter kits for as low as $29.99 for the standard model and $49.99 for the deluxe model. The amazing part is that South Beach Smoke e-cigarettes are better than the average brands and equal in quality with the top brands on the market but half the price. They produce just as much vapor, have a sleek, realistic and cool look, and come in an assortment of flavors that are sure to please a wide variety of smoking types.

South Beach Smoke’s customer service is amazing. When you call, expect to be greeted not by an automated message but a friendly customer service representative who is both knowledgeable of the product and equipped to handle any problem.  Customer service is extremely important when dealing with electronics, batteries and high tech cartridges can have tiny problems that are difficult to fix by the average person but easy for the customer service representatives. Customer service needs to be knowledgeable and reliable for products like these, and South Beach Smoke Customer Representatives are up for the task.

The South Beach Smoke home delivery program is easy to setup, reliable and comes with huge benefits. First of all, the South Beach Smoke Starter Kits come with a 30-day money back guarantee, which takes the uncertainty out of trying e-cigarettes for the first time.  The home delivery program or South Beach Smoke Membership allows you to choose the frequency of cartridge shipments and comes with a lifetime warranty on all products, which includes free replacement batteries.

Top 10 WORST E-cigs to buy.

E-cigarettes are spreading like an epidemic on the internet, which is not surprising considering that they are the first alternative to smoking that closely simulates a real smoking experience, yet without many negative effects of tobacco smoking. E-cigarettes are looking very promising and are already revolutionizing the way many people smoke.

Unfortunately, the growing popularity of e-cigs is also reflected in the increasing number of spam emails which offer Free Trials for a low quality or non-existent product, then proceed to overcharge your credit card on monthly basis. The FREE Trials are class A scams, and there are new e-cig sites popping up every day. Here are the top 10 you should stay away from.

1. Smoking Everywhere
It is unfortunate that Smoking Everywhere has gained such vast exposure and proliferation on the market. Of all the e-cigs on the internet, this brand performs the worst. It is unreliable, poorly designed, and overpriced. And if you buy it you’ll soon find that it’s non-refundable too.

2. Smoke51
Owned by Smoking Everywhere, so it is basically the same scam in different wrapping. Well known for various e-cig scams, such as Smoke Star. If you fall for the free trial “only for the cost of shipping and handling $9.95″, you will soon find that your credit card was charged a further $89.95, and then billed $29.95 monthly for refills. Try contacting the customer service by phone or email, and you are in for a long wait. You won’t be able to cancel the billing, only your credit card. This is a scam and a ripoff big time.

3. Direct E-Cig
Here is another well known brand that gives e-cigs a bad name. Direct E-Cig is in fact a rip-off company. They advertise a Free Offer, after which your credit card will be charged $109.90 exactly 14 days after the initial ‘free’ order. They refer to their ‘Terms and Conditions’ when you call to complain about the charges to your credit card. The Terms and Conditions are ‘hidden’ at the bottom of the Free Trial page, and unless you use magnifying glass, you can’t see the print.

Surprisingly, Direct E-Cig does not have a bad product, only an outdated one. Their model uses 3 part design, which means that the atomizer must be cleaned and maintained. Compared to new electronic cigarette models where each new cartridge comes with an atomizer built in, you could get a much better value for your money.

4. Knight Sticks
This is a typical e-cig scam, offering “FREE” Trial that will eventually cost you more than $120 just for the Starter Kit, plus you won’t be able to cancel further charges of $60 per month for the refills. Low quality Chinese product. No refunds. Lots of unhappy customers.

5. Prado E-Cigarette
If you google Prado e-cigarette, you will find tons of negative comments on this brand. Most customers complain that the vapor at first is good like a normal cig but that diminishes over a few hours and then it needs recharging or cartridge replacement. Prado cartridges don’t last more than 2-3 hours. The fine print says that when ordering you must! contact them within the 14day window from the moment of purchase until you receive the product to cancel any further orders or you’ll risk being charged 149.90 out of your account for the trial offer.

6. LUX E-Cig
LUX e-cig is very heavy, e-liquid leaks and gets all over your lips. The vapor is weak and you can’t inhale enough to get the the feel of smoking. You can get the “FREE” trial with 4.95 shipping. Afterward your credit card will be charged $99.67 for the original kit, and then within a couple of weeks $69.68 more will be deducted from your account. You won’t be able to cancel the order, only change your credit card.

7. Elektro Cig
Here is another e-cig company with a bad reputation. Major complaints have been made about late shipments and unauthorized multiple charges to customers’ credit cards for shipping and handling. In addition, Elektro Cig seem to profit like Microsoft by releasing new cartridge models that don’t fit previously purchased e-cigarette of the same brand. The battery has a short life, and if you have a complaint, their customer service will not respond to emails or phone calls.

8.Clean Smoke
Another sad e-cig story… Clean Smoke advertises on FaceBook their “Free” Trial Kit, for the cost of shipping that is supposed to be $4.00. However, before your order even gets to you, your credit card will be charged for $128 more for somthing called “SmileKit” (Go ahead, smile!) If you try to phone the company to cancel the billing you’ll find that none of the numbers work. Many unhappy customers.

9.Smoke Assist / Smoke Assassin
Smoke Assist an Smoke Assassin are the same company. Their e-cigarette is very mild and tastes like caramel candy. There have been numerous complaints on their fraudulent marketing strategies and poor privacy policy.

Your information will be sold for marketing and you be re-billed every month for product. It is virtually imposable to cancel as they don’t provide the information they later demand to reverse billing. The Customer service is third-party and will assure that you never come to a resolution on your complaints. Your “free trial” will cost you $80.00-$160.00 at least.

10.Smoker’s Savior
The line of unhappy customers of Smokers Savior is long, as is the list of complaints: late shipping, third-party customer service that cannot resolve any problems, auto-billing, no refunds… Their e-cig has very poor reviews. Customers complain that the device cannot hold a charge longer than a few minutes, the atomizer has issues, and cartridges leak. All in all, the product is useless. As far as the billing of it, that part is definitely a scam. They just want your card number and then they go wild with it. Beware!

The Direct E-Cig…YUCK – Definately not the better way to smoke!

I have found one of the nastiest E-Cigs on the market, the “Direct E-Cig.”

Let me tell you guys…and ladies; I tried the Direct E-cig because it was one that pretty much let you try them for 7 days free (you only pay shipping and handling.) But in any event when I opened them up, I could tell right off the bat that they were “free” for reason. They just looked cheap. However, in attempt to follow the ol’ cliches’ of “You can’t judge a book by the cover” and “Looks can be deceiving;” I proceeded to assemble one and try it anyway and boy was I disgusted.

The first thing that happened was the liquid nicotine inside the cartridge leaked in my mouth. YUCK! I mean that stuff is “slap yo’ grandma” nasty. I would rather drink toilet water than have that stuff drain in my mouth. (No, not really, but I bet it’s about the same taste.) It’s really no wonder they give a 7 day trial for free, in hopes that someone with dead taste buds will be satisfied with it and continue using them. And even when it didn’t drain in my mouth, the vapor was just terrible.

On top of my extreme dissatisfaction on the Direct E-cig’s overall quality, I tried to cancel right away and they still billed my checking account a hundred bucks! When I called to dispute it, I was told that according to their records, the trial period was over, when in fact I cancelled the day I received them. See, what they did was applied the day that they shipped them as the day my trial started, when it was actually supposed to be the day I received them. Had I did my “homework” prior to falling for their gimmick, I would have learned that this is a common complaint about E-cig. Go ahead…search it…The folks at Direct E-Cig are crooked. In short, it’s simple: I advise you to stay as far away from Direct E-cig as you can get.

The Better way to smoke Introduction Post

Post 1

In this site I will talk about the better way to smoke, the pro’s and the cons of the electronic cigarettes on the market today. I have experimented with several of them. While some have been an enjoyable experience, others have just plunged down to the very bottom of my list. Some have offered several variations, while others were basically a “you get what we got, take it or leave it” kind of concept.

Electronic cigarettes are made up of three different parts. A battery, a nebulizer or atomizer, and a cartridge. Some companies market their electronic cigarettes with a regular battery while others go a step further and provide their customers with a longer lasting lithium Ion battery. I haven’t found a company yet though that doesn’t provide the customer with a battery charger. The nebulizer (or atomizer) is the element that heats up causing the liquid nicotine in the cartridge to heat up and turn into a vapor-like smoke giving you the feel of smoking a cigarette. The cartridge is the only part of the device that has to be replaced regularly, basically like a pack of cigarettes, it’s a consumable.

There is a tiny chip in the nebulizer of the electronic cigarette that senses a pull (or drag). The way this works is when you pull on it, air flows through the entire unit and the chip senses the flow, closing a circuit between the battery and nebulizer and caused the nebulizer (like a light bulb) produce heat and vaporize the liquid nicotine. Seeing as the electronic cigarette is being pulled on, the vapors flow right into the user’s mouth. Once the liquid nicotine is completely vaporized, you have to replace the cartridge.

Most companies provide orders of 5 cartridges for pack, and about 3 packs per order, so 15 cartridges. Each cartridge equals out to be approximately a pack and a half of cigarettes. So if you’re used to smoking about that much, it’s a cartridge a day. When the cartridge runs out, you normally start to get a nasty plastic burning kind of taste in most of them, but not all of them. The battery life on a fully charged electronic cigarette usually lasts about as long as one of the cartridges so it works out pretty good. Though the Lithium Ion battery may usually last about as long as two cartridges.

Cartridges come in various strengths and flavors with some companies, though not all companies offer this option. The company that I currently use provides it’s customers with 5 different flavors and 3 different strengths. The strengths are measured in milligrams, A 6 mg cartridge would be about equal to an ultra-light, the 12 mg cartridge is equal to a light, and a 16 mg is about equal to a full flavor. The flavors they offer are nicotine (about like the taste of a regular cigarette) menthol (About like a regular menthol cigarette) a chocolate, vanilla, and cherry. Also they offer variety packs

If you are trying to quit smoking, the electronic cigarette will definitely help. I have made several mentions throughout this article that the cartridges do in fact contain liquid nicotine, therefore you would still have the brain stimulation and addiction like you would an actual cigarette. In fact you would even get the head rush if you go without it for a while and go to use it. Though it is a safer method of nicotine intake than chewing tobacco or smoking actual cigarettes. For one, it doesn’t contain any tar so it’s not going to make your lungs black and as of yet there are no cases of cancer or birth defects linked back to the electronic cigarette. It is definitely the better way to smoke.
